Food Crop Collectors

Do you have heaps of fruit on your tree?
More vegies and herbs in the garden than you need?
Happy to give some away?

The aim of food Crop Collectors – a community harvest project is to harvest & or collect excess fruit and vegetables from local Mid Richmond residents. The donated produce provide local, healthy and nutritious food to the wider Mid Richmond Community.

food Crop Collectors will be run by a team of volunteers who will have the opportunity to develop and share a broad range of skills in all things food. Volunteers could also help out in resident gardens if requested. We could lend a hand with basic gardening jobs like pruning and harvesting.

Our vision for this project is to connect diverse groups of people through locally grown food and provide an environment where we can celebrate the harvest.

This is truly cultivating our community
